Finally made it to the Sarah P. Duke Gardens this weekend.  It was grey and solidly overcast but, even so, it’s a lovely garden. This little guy was playing hide-and-seek with me.  I’m not good with birds so I have no idea what kind of bird he is…EDIT:  I have it on better bird authority than mine that this guy is either a Hairy Woodpecker or a Red-naped Sapsucker.  (Sapsucker sounds like a derogatory term for birds…’That useless sapsucker couldn’t fly straight with a ruler…’)
